Day 1Cairo
Met at Cairo International Airport and transferred to your hotel. An evening at leisure to prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 2Giza
Explore the monumental new museum at the edge of the plateau, then the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx.
Day 3Cairo
The Hanging Church, built over a Roman gatehouse; the crypt of the Holy Family beneath Abu Serga; and the remarkable Cave Church of St. Simon the Tanner in the Mokattam hills.
Day 4Cairo → Alexandria
The riverside Church of the Virgin Mary in Maadi, then Matareya and the Virgin's Tree, before a scenic drive to Alexandria.
Day 5Alexandria
The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and a stroll along the Mediterranean Corniche.
Day 6Sharm El Sheikh
Return to Cairo and fly to Sharm El Sheikh. Rest in the afternoon, then drive by night to the foot of Mount Sinai for the ascent.
Day 7Mount Sinai
Watch the sun rise from the summit, then visit St. Catherine's Monastery, its museum and the site of the Burning Bush before returning to your hotel.
Day 8Sharm El Sheikh → Cairo
Private transfer to Sharm El Sheikh airport for your flight to Cairo and your international connection home.
